Steps to edit background color of a Swim Lane

1. Right-click the Swim Lane whose color you want to change and select Change Background Color option.
   This displays the Select Color screen (see Figure 49).
2. Select the color for the selected swim lane and click OK. This changes the label and background color for the selected lane (see Figure 49).

Deleting Swim Lanes

A process model is loaded with one Pool and one swim lane by default. You can add multiple swim lanes to the Pool; however the process model cannot have more than one Pool. Thus, you cannot delete the Pool.

When deleting swim lanes from the Pool, you can delete the swim lanes, but a minimum of one swim lane needs to exist in the Pool.
 

Steps to delete a Swim Lane

1. Right-click the Swim Lane that you want to delete and select the Delete option.

2. If there are more than one swim lanes in the Pool, then the selected swim lane and all associated activities within that swim lane get deleted.

   Else, the following screen is displayed (see Figure 50 below).

   

3. Click OK to close this screen and return to the Modeler screen. The swim lane does not get deleted.
