Export - Linux

This section details how to export the objects. Before you start exporting, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Environment Promotion option to export the objects.

1. Type 1 to Export and press ENTER.

2. Provide the source install directory where Adeptia Server is installed and press ENTER.

   

3. Type the group whose objects to export. You can select more than one group separated by a comma (,) or a range (1-10) or a combination of both (1,2, 5-9, 13).

   

4. Type the object to export and press ENTER. You can export any one of the following:

   • all process flows and their associated objects

   • all objects

   • all projects and their associated objects

   

5. Type the directory to save the exported file. The objects can be exported in a zip file only. It is recommended to give the file name in the zip file format.
   

6. Press ENTER to export. A message "Export completed successfully" appears confirming objects have been exported successfully. In case of failure, it displays an error message and rollbacks the entire operation.
   

7. Press ENTER to exit the Migration utility.
