Configuring Dropbox Application

This section explains the process of configuring Dropbox application.  

1. Go to https://www.dropbox.com/developers.

2. Sign in using your Dropbox credentials.

   

3. Click Create app.

   

4. Select Dropbox API app*.*

   

5. Select Files and datastores as the type of data your app needs to store on Dropbox.

   

6. Select No to grant access to files already on Dropbox*.*

7. Select All file Types to access all types of files*.*

   

8. Type a name for your app. 

   

9. Click Create app.

   

10. Click Enable additional User.

    Note the value of App Key and App Secret Key. You need to configure these values in Adeptia Suite.

11. Type the URL in the Redirect URIs text box in the below format:

    https://<IP address or domain name>:8443 /app/rest/adapters/dropbox/account.

    where, IP address is the IP address where Adeptia Suite is running.

12. Click Add.

    

13. Click Okay.

14. Now, go to Detailstab and fill the information as shown below:

    

15. Click Save changes.
