When you work with the AI Agent, it draws on a collection of tools. Each tool has a defined purpose and belongs to a category. Tools can be listed and filtered by category, making it straightforward to understand the scope of what the agent can do in your environment.

Tools are organized into categories, so the appropriate type of capability can be identified for a given situation.

Enabling and managing tools​

Individual tools can be enabled or disabled within the platform. Tools are registered with the platform during initialization, and the registry of available tools can be browsed by category.
