Getting Started: Logging In
Welcome to Adeptia Automate. This page walks you through accessing the platform for the first time, from what to expect on the login screen to how your session is kept secure.
Accessing the Platform
Adeptia Automate is accessed through the Portal, a web-based management console. Your administrator will provide you with the URL for your deployment.
When you navigate to the Portal URL, you will see the login screen. Enter the credentials your administrator provided. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected to your identity provider to authenticate before returning to the Portal.
What Happens After Login
Once authenticated, you land on the Portal home screen. The navigation bar across the top gives you access to the main platform sections:
- Build: design and configure integrations
- Automate: manage the runtime and scheduling
- Monitor: observe execution history and health
- Administrate: manage users, roles, and platform settings
Session Security
Your session is protected by the platform's gateway layer. Sessions time out after a period of inactivity; you will be prompted to log in again when your session expires. Do not share credentials or leave authenticated sessions unattended on shared machines.
Troubleshooting Login Issues
If you cannot log in:
- Confirm you are using the correct Portal URL for your deployment.
- Verify your username and password with your administrator.
- If SSO is configured, check that your identity provider session is active.
- Contact your Adeptia administrator if the issue persists.
