User Profile & Preferences
The User Profile & Preferences area in the Adeptia Automate portal gives each user a central place to view and manage their personal identity, contact details, role assignments, and account security settings.

What you can do
The profile area is organized into two main sections, accessible via tabs:

If your password has expired, the Profile tab is not shown.
Viewing your profile
Your profile displays a summary of who you are in the platform, including your name, email address, user ID, and title. Your profile picture, if one is set, appears alongside your name.
Role assignments
Below your personal details, the profile lists every company or partner you are associated with, along with the role or roles assigned to you for each. If you hold more than one role within a company, all roles are shown together, and the default role is identified separately. This gives you a clear picture of your access and responsibilities across the platform.
Editing your profile
An Edit Profile button is available in the profile header. Admin users also have the ability to update the email address on the account. Updating an email address is a two-step process: you first enter the new address, then confirm your current password before the change is saved.
Moving your objects
If you are not a monitor-only or view-only user, a Move My Objects action is available from the profile header.
Changing your password
Where: My Profile > Account Settings tab
The Account Settings tab provides a self-service password change form. To update your password you provide:

Password requirements
As you type a new password, the form gives you live feedback on whether each requirement is met. The requirements cover minimum length, use of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. A strength indicator, showing Weak, Fair, or Strong, updates in real time as you type so you can gauge the quality of your chosen password before saving.
The platform also prevents you from reusing any of your three most recent passwords. If you attempt to set a password you have used recently, the form alerts you and asks you to choose a different one.
After a successful password change
Once your password is changed successfully, you are automatically signed out.
