App connectors in Adeptia Connect

An app connector facilitates the interaction of Adeptia Connect with an application by utilizing a sequence of triggers and actions. While a trigger initiates the execution of specific actions or workflows at the source, an action performs specific operations in the target application. To enable secure interaction with an application, the Adeptia app connectors use different authentication methods.

Adeptia Connect allows you to use a pre-built app connector or to create an altogether custom app connector by using an Open API Specifications (OAS) based yaml file. Creating and adding a custom app connector to the Adeptia Connect application helps you connect to an application for which Adeptia Connect doesn't have a pre-built connector.
