Field (Account) Information​

While configuring the Source or Destination of a Template or Transaction, you need to create an account to connect Salesforce with Adeptia Connect. While creating an account, you need to specify the location from where Adeptia Connect will access the data.

Click to add an account.

Specify the following information for Salesforce:

Account NameA short, descriptive name that helps you re-use this account in future.

Enter a name and select the Salesforce environment. Click Continue. The Salesforce login screen appears

PasswordPassword to log in to your Salesforce account.

If you do not have a Salesforce account, click Sign up now. The registration screen appears:

Triggers​

A Trigger specifies when a particular Transaction will start executing. While configuring the Source of a Template, you need to choose an event.

Following triggers are available for Salesforce at Source.

New OpportunityTriggers when an opportunity is created. An opportunity is a sale or pending deal.
New Opportunity Or Updated OpportunityTriggers when an opportunity is created or an existing opportunity is modified.
New EventTriggers when an event is created. Represents an event in the calendar.

New CaseTriggers when a case is created. A case is a customer issue or problem.

New AccountTriggers when an account is created. An account is an organization or person involved with your business (such as customers, competitors, and partners).

New TaskTriggers when a task is created.

A task represents a business activity such as making a phone call or other to-do items. Task and Event records are collectively referred to as activities.

New LeadTriggers when a lead is created. A lead is a prospect or potential Opportunity.

New CampaignTriggers when a campaign is created. A campaign is an outbound marketing project that you want to plan, manage, and track within Salesforce. It can be a direct mail program, seminar, print advertisement, email, or another type of marketing initiative.
New Campaign Or Updated CampaignTriggers when a campaign is created or an existing campaign is modified.
New ProductTriggers when a product is added. Products are the individual items or services that you sell to customers through your opportunities and quotes. You can create a product and associate it with a price in a price book. Each product can exist in many different price books with many different prices.

New Price BookTriggers when a price book is created. A price book is a list of products and their associated prices. Each product and its price is called a price book entry.

Actions​

An Action specifies how the data will be transferred at the destination location. While configuring the Destination (Target) of a Template, you need to choose an action.

Following actions are available for Salesforce at Destination.

Mapping​

While creating a mapping, a Reference field can be mapped to an expression. It can also mapped to a value from the Lookup.
